I conceived and co-write the original screenplay for this animated movie. It starred James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Michael Caine, Jason Statham and Patrick Stewart with music by Sir Elton John. It made over $200 million at the worldwide box office and was number one in the UK and US. I was nominated for an Annie Award (animation’s most prestigious honour) for Writing in a Feature Production. The movie received numerous nominations including Best Animation at the National Film Awards. It spawned the sequel spin off ‘Sherlock Gnomes’.
